Florence is the most beautiful city in the world dear Francesco. Not Venice. If you ever been to Venice you know it smells like...... all day long, 365 days per year. Period

A horrendous misrepresentation of history if ever I saw one. I would expect Francesco's views regarding his home city to be biased but his retelling of the events of the 4th Crusade in 1204 was a pack of lies. The venetians are unchanged in my eyes, they will always be lying, treacherous back stabbing pirates.
