It is so hypocritical how so many white talk show pundits are trying to harm Obama by forcing him to be responsible for Jeremiah Wrights' sermons, such as when he mentions black issues. The attached video (Realplayer) (transcript of video is below) shows Bill O'Reilly saying, "The left is attacking the WHITE, CHRISTIAN, MALE POWER STRUCTURE" to John McCain. Nowhere in the interview does Senator McCain disavow, repudiate, reject or denounce O'Reilly's race, religious, white supremacist comments. In fact at the end of the interview Senator McCain says I agree. We Americans of all races have to stop those who would continue to divide us along racial lines (corporate heads) in order to further their narrow goals, while not caring one iota for the USA. Vote for Obama!
Via Atrios, Bill O'Reilly and Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) discuss immigration:
O'REILLY: But do you understand what the New York Times wants, and the far-left want? They want to break down the white, Christian, male power structure, which you're a part, and so am I, and they want to bring in millions of foreign nationals to basically break down the structure that we have. In that regard, Pat Buchanan is right. So I say you've got to cap with a number.
MCCAIN: In America today we've got a very strong economy and low unemployment, so we need addition farm workers, including by the way agriculture, but there may come a time where we have an economic downturn, and we don't need so many.
O'REILLY: But in this bill, you guys have got to cap it. Because estimation is 12 million, there may be 20 [million]. You don't know, I don't know. We've got to cap it.
MCCAIN: We do, we do. I agree with you.

McCain should have distanced himself from the white, Christian, male power structure comment.

In his book Things Men Die For, Cooper championed Manifest Destiny in no uncertain terms:
"The lust of power is in us, we white men. Well sacrifice anything for the chance to rule. And I believe that it is right that black, brown and yellow men should be dominated by the white."

E. Soulmates; agreed! When will people realize race has very little to do with the problems we have in this country! The REAL problem, IN MY OPINION, is that the media and politicians throw that race card between us: THEY get a story, and a "CAUSE" they can exploite! THEY win when we fight! Whites without money and power are on the same exact playing field as blacks without money and power! And whites and blacks WITH money and power BOTH do what they want! (At OUR COLLECTIVE expense! Peace
The difference between the issue with Reverend White and Bill O Reilly (whatever his name is), is that you don't have them on record saying they went to a KKK rally. While you Have Obama's word that he went to a racist, anti-american sermon, served by Rev. White. Eitehrway, Both candidates were full of shit, and that's the way it always has been in America. Idiots, EVERYWHERE.
so in order to prove your love for America, and your patriotism (as opposed to Rev. Wright) you state that America is a nation of idiots EVERYWHERE and that our leaders are "full of shit?" Doesn't sound like your view of America is any higher than Rev. Wright's.
Neither Rev. Wright or O'Reilly seem to be hateful toward PEOPLE, but rather both are addressing a reality in America - institutional bias. One assails it and one defends it. And you made comments about the PEOPLE of America outside of that specific discussion.
Wow u guyz r goin in huh.....I don't agree with McCain being grouped in with O'Reily. O'Reily is an evil entity on his own. I definetly agree that there is way too much talk on youtube btw ppl who, lets face it, are not these political strategist and analysis they seem to be painting themselves as.
