Cataclysm Benchtest

After a 2 month break from WoW I came back with a new gaming rig...

I wanted to stress test Cata on maxed out Ultra settings with FRAPS recording at 40 FPS & this video will show you the results

My Old Rig Specs:

1GB DDR2 RAM
Nvidia GeForce 8400GS
Single Core Processor

New rig:

AMD Phenom II X4 955
4GB DDR3 RAM
Nvidia GTX460

I am still a bit rusty, totally have to remember my rotation all over again ^.^

oh also, looking at your rig, when you earn a little more cash, id aim to probably buy more RAM if you could, or maybe a better GPU, you said you had to costcut, well as you earn more cash you could upgrade it component by component, tis what id do

Yep, thats what I intend to do... Im planning on getting a GTX560 Ti & another 4GB RAM. I had to cost cut because the money I originally had saved had to be spent on bills.

The one thing I made sure not to cost cut on was the PSU & the mobo, that way I can just keep upgrading her. I may be forced to upgrade the PSU in the future but Im pretty sure that wont be for a while

i havent played in 4 months cause i was supposed to get my new pc parts months ago but bills come first, so im probably gonna end up waiting another month or possibly more till i get all the parts.

Yeah I know its just all I have atm, As you know I spent all my cash on the PC. I will be getting RIFT & possibly Crysis when I get some more money but until then there isnt much I can do im afraid
