  • Um I'm Gay (with a capital G) and I had sexual feelings for other boys when I was like 6. I still remember having a crush on my best friend when I was that age- What I mean is I had that sort of floaty "I have a crush on you" feeling for boys- and I wasn't sexually abused- no one sexualised any of it for me- I just think those feelings were natural.

  • I completely agree. I'm sure Jake understands that as well, He was sharing his point of view but I think Jake would mostly agree with you. I do think that gay children are very vulnerable to abuse because no one is watching for it or protecting them. Then if they are abused, some say abuse is the reason why they are gay. Most of the guys I talk to were never abused. Once you can just face it you let go of excuses like that.

  • What I mean is I was really attracted to guys before I was 7, But you're right in so far as my labelling them as "sexual" is me looking back at them now. But I would definitely say they were precursors to erotic feelings for men. Think of it like this, you can imagine a six year old boy being really bashful around a beautiful young woman?I got like that around handsome guys... you're right to pull me up on the "sex" label- sex and eroticism are often confused.

  • @cmmndrblu how at 6? kids don't know what sex is at that age

  • why does seth look like he came back from the dead?

  • agreed

  • Wow,

hey I owe you an email BTW still doing some research

  • rd1999,

my other problem is the whole environment. I have a former BYU roommate who is gay, who is now teaching at BYU. To make matter's worse for himself he married a woman whose father is a congressman that GLAD called the most homophobic politician in America.

If that isn't building yourself up for disaster I don't know what is.

  • "The point is to educate LDS members to the gay condition as so many Mormons are so clued out as to believe that it is a choice."

and I am fine with that to a point. I am not fine someone pretending they aren't gay and then getting upset with other people for pretending that sexual attraction is a choice. both sides must be honest for cohesion and understanding to exist.
