This video provides a great tip to help with confidence and concentration. Here's an addition to this tip to make it even more powerful: - While focusing on the ball, have an EXACT point on the court IN MIND before making contact. It helps with accuracy too
1. Keep your eye on the ball as your opponent hits it,
2. Pick a specific spot on the court to place the ball (without taking your eye off the ball)
3. Follow this video's tip, watch the ball until you make contact and finish your stroke.

very very nice tips. I somehow noticed my consistency improves when keeping my eyes through contact but not sure. This video confirms that. I like all his tips and video. Very very nice

I've played tennis since I was 2 years old and the way I play is you pick your spot before you hit the ball, focus down on the ball and dont lift your head! dont lift your head! until you've swung right threw the ball. Its just like playing golf in that respect.

when I keep my eyes down I find it somewhat difficult to accurately place where I want the ball to go. Is that something that just comes with practice?

I used to have this problem big times...lost to players who were much worse than me. But now I have grown out of it...my solution:
1. only concentrate on the point you are playing and forget the consequences of lossing 2. Dont forget the simple techniques...during matches i keep saying to myslef..."move your feet...eyes on the ball".it helps.
3. make a game plan, which doesnt have to be very elaborate.
4. pretend to be someone else...it might help you...i image being agassi :)

This is a very important tip, maybe the most important for a good shotmaking. I believe keeping your eyes on the ball till you've completed the shot is as important as using well your legs in order to give power and pace to the ball. Thanks for posting this video.
