Its not a personal chcoice. It's called survival of the fittest. Although I understand there is a percentage of people that do that by personal choice, majority rules in that only the survive.

I cant believe you even attempt to compare the two, kids in "the hood" are usually doing it by personal choice, its the way a lot of them have chosen to live their lives.

Child soldiers on the other hand watch their children get massacred and then are told with a gun to their forehead to fight or die, they are completely different, the drugging and brainwashing these people go though is completely different.

1st of all no one wants ur "aid" except the malitias, have u ever heard of: give a man a fish, or teach a man to fish? 2nd of all, its colonialism and the devides betw nations, ur artificial borders, ur guns, ur arms dealers, and the list goes on...that has done this to them. keep an open mind, and remember these are children, they have no idea wats right or wrong, so its not ok to drink before ur 21 but u can go to war? wat is wrong with u???

Poverty leads to a number of crimes, mostly theft, which then leads to murders of theft of each others properties. Its like animals. Think of it this way, put 100 alligators in a cage, drop in 100 pieces of chicken, how many would fight? Not as many as if you were to drop in 1000 pieces of chicken right?

i dont agree with why kids in the hood are doing wut they do, i think its discusting and terrible how a country like america can have hoods that bad. But i do agree wit helping your own people b4 others. Its wasting time and money on other countries if yours isnt perfect. I would like to c crime rates the fuck down where i live

The video, depicting children with weapons, fighting for no just cause, sent to war at extremely young ages, sends a message of "help". Imagine living in a city in which if you were to say the wrong thing, you will be shot and killed. Imagine not knowing what street to walk down, because the colors you are wearing, might decide your fate. My comment is not purely related to the war in Rwanda, but children at war in general. You wouldn't understand if you haven't lived in the projects.
