hi i bought LG 42"7000 tv one year and 5 months ago and the day world cup started it stop working, very unluck!

I think the problem is the bulb, could you please help me, in which stores can find the bulb?

@TTTANTO It's not likely to be a bad light after only a year and five months of use. I would suspect the power supply or the inverter board has some problems.

on another note, i was out near medford one winter and couldnt help but notice many stores sold weird combos of items that dont go together at all like guns and draperies, ice skates and matresses. i cant remember the exact things they were selling although guns and draperies might have been real. these signs were comical ,like something out of a grand theft auto game. ever notice that?

Now it needs a 250 euro repair!

I have a 32' Vizio LCD HDTV i got it on Christmas Day Dec of 2007 and its still working fine. :) Love it!

Bought aan LG 42" LCD which lasted a whole whooping 2 days before starting to flicker and shut itself off! Bloody annoying!

I purchased a brand new Samsung LE32a457 with 12month warranty. 18mths later I have two dead pixels in the centre of the screen. Neither Samsung/Retailer are interested in exchange/repair. I even blogged my experience with this and another buggy/faulty Samsung 2032MW LCD as I am so disappointed with LCD TVs. (Long live CRTs; least I can service these.) Great videos by the way.

Well, my PC LCD (PVA panel) is now 6 years old and since a year, in very bright situations, the LCD tends to flickr now and then but only if you look at very bright things on the screen.

I have/had a Sony kdl46s4100 that lasted one year and three weeks. Blurry right side, now the LCD doesn't come on until it's warmed up for about 30-60 minutes. Sony's authorized repair center claims its the LCD. $1,585 to repair. And Sony will only pay $900 of it. I've tried playing with the tab bonds, no help. Interesting to see that the $2,000 I spent will only last me a year. I'd have had more fun in Vegas!!!
