@dogstar1877 Not just movies and books, but in plentiful video games too. I like how these patterns help aspiring writings create their own Hero's Journey to tell--these types of analyses are really helpful.

most people think that luke getting the medal is the reward but the reward was that he now has a whole new family there was only supposed to be 1 star wars and he only replaced the odyssy from homer but in a future scene

Just wrote a research paper on this. I never would have thought up something like monomyth. It is amazing that almost all the stories and movies we love follow this pattern to at least some degree.
