Call of Duty: World at War Veteran Glitch (Part 1)

How to do the glitch:

1. Load up a mission on Veteran difficulty and get to the first checkpoint. Then Save and quit.

2. On the main menu, select "Mission Select" and choose same mission, but choose "Recruit" difficulty." Wait until the loading bar gets 1/3 the way done and then hit the guide button and go to dashboard.

3. Load up the game again, then when you get to the main menu, select "Resume Game". The A.I. will now be on "Recruit" difficulty, while the game still recognizes you on Veteran difficulty.

YOU WILL GET THE VETERAN ACHIEVEMENT AND THE BASIC LEVEL ACHIEVEMENT FOR COMPLETING THE LEVEL.

nah, dosnt work you think it works but clearly it dosnt becuase you get a red screen after 1 shot and you die easily from grenades which are not that close! good try though ;-)

@grimsbybrad14 Yeah, again, I don't know how many times I have to say this.....

The reason I died so much, was because I tried rushing through the level so my video would make it under the 10 minute mark, but that didn't work, because when you run past enemies on any difficulty, they all start shooting at you.

Besides that, had this glitch NOT worked, I WOULD HAVE NEVER COMPLETED BLOWTORCH AND CORKSCREW, HEART OF THE REICH, AND DOWNFALL....

just so you know 1/3 would be right at the start of the loading screen.

if only i had know about this like a year ago this game gave me so much stress on veteran it makes the other cod games look easy

@EddNeeds codwaw loads quicker on xbox than the ps3 if you have realized that

1.Start the game on veteran any mission (it will work in certin missions not all),

2.Right after you get a (check point) on the mission save and quit.

3.Go to mission select and pick the one mission you got a (check point) and select the diffculty on recruit.

4.Once the mission is loading quit the game wen the white loading bar is in the middle

5,Then load the game again and resume the game.

This works, you have same health that you have in Veteran, but enemies are dumb and they don't hit you often, they also won't grenade spam like they did in Veteran.
