I got this at K-mart for $50. It is a very well designed machine. It's miles ahead of that other thing I reviewed, and feels very solid. It's no Bose, but the sound quality is good even on the tape player. It can play CD-RWs, but NOT mp3 CDs.
@skaterenvy1 I've never had a video get removed for having just part of a song. I suppose as long as you don't have the entire song in the video it doesn't matter?
@littleelvis1996 It has 3.4 total watts. The volume is controlled electrically (as opposed to a simple resistive knob as you would generally see on lower-end radios) and the level shows on the screen- a number goes 1 through 10, with 3 bars per number. The "2-to-3" range is a good average for me for general listening but it can play pretty dang loud! The "step-spacing" is pretty good as well
@24tuccu I guess that would save battery power, though. (in addition to knocking about $5 off the price tag)

It shouldn't be any different if you play a CD or the radio they both have copy rights so you could get in trouble both ways.
