Many simply can't accept that such superior talents can exist, for such extraordinary talents indict their own militant mediocrity. Thus they medicalize this talent away, making it not a matter of a gift, but of pathology. Just as vice has been pathologized, so is virtue being pathologized. Such is the brave new world.

  • @Jitpring Gould wasn't a genius of playing the piano but a genius of learning how to play the piano. The techniques he used to improve his technique were way ahead of his time.
