This is a video I made as part of my first assignment for my Visual Storytelling class at Chapman's Dodge College. The assignment was to choose a person or location in your hometown that means something to you. In one or more shots, create a visual portrait of the person in action, or of the location in a way that conveys a strong feeling. Shoot and/or edit your footage in such a way that will effectively communicate this feeling to an audience. There are only a few rules:

1. No music or dialogue. The use of ambient sound around the person or location is optional.
2. The project may not exceed 1 minute.
3. Don't be boring!

Your project may be as complex or as simple as you like. You don't have to edit this project -- it can be one long shot if you wish. The key is to use visuals and/or sounds that communicate your feeling about the person or place you choose. I decided to choose my younger sister Emily [she's the one in the brownish blonde hair, I'm the one with the short dark brown layered hair] and communicate how much this gal means to me. I'm going to miss her so much. Hope you enjoy it!
