You seem like a nice guy that means well, but get your facts straight before making comments on World oil production.

You're right, it's about oil, but not the lack of it, it's too much oil and Iran is selling it to the World in Euros and NOT in the US Dollars. Ever heard of the "Petro-Dollar" and how it functions? Look it up and learn the truth about what's really going on!

Softearth - Does the US adminstration care that Iraq's interrupted supplies have made oil prices and therfore US oil company profits spike? I'm sure it doesn't. But re: overall production I'd ask you to check my facts. Google 'Energy Trends - DTI March 2007', check the graph on page 24. The UK's indigenous oil production is on the way out.

I think it's partially a war of authority. Iran wishes to deny US authority. Hence the US wishes to re-assert it's authority with force to send a message: "Deny our authority and we will use force."

simplistic and unrealistic because: 1/The US military is now overstretched and incapable of regime change in Iran. 2/Would find it impossible to assemble a coalition (even of "The Willing"). 3/Can get Iranian oil more easily by simply buying it. 4/Is motivated by Iran's power in the region, especially with respect to Israel, and not Iran's oil. thanks for this video, hope people of the world understand that we Iranian people neither want this dictator government nor foreign invaders! we will sort our problems out eventually! Iran is not like Iraq! PS...Iran's biggest Ally Russia has recently kicked out 3 diplomats from the American Embassy in Russia. They are also driving their NUKES up and down Red Square which is something they have not done for 20 years since Cold War days. I have a feeling Russia is itching to flex it's muscle to protect Iran. Their is so much EVIL in the USA's foreign and domestic policies it boggles my mind.

We have a very small GDP now that Greed has driven USA Capitalists to build China's infrastructure by moving business abroad to increase profit thus killing the USA economy. Now commodities traded with the US Dollar are the main thing giving the dollar it's value. People here say why has oil and food and gold gone up so high. Besides supply and demand the dollar has fallen and that is why prices are so high(inflation).

We will attack Iran for the same reason we attacked Iraq. To protect the value of the dollar. Before we attacked Iraq Saddam switched his oil trade into Euros saving Iraq 17% due to the strength of the Euro. We attacked Iraq and immediatly switched them back to the dollar standard when we were in contol of the country. Just think if all the other Middle Eastern countries followed suit. They could cause a huge USA depression. The USA has no GDP and needs WAR to stay in control..PERIOD

US was not able to win aginst Iran either through proxy war waged by Saddam nor by proxy war waged by Israel.
