Original footage shot by Vera Duggan - thanks for that !
From the Coach and Horses Jam website :
This week we warmly welcomed Werner Lindner, making the first of his three visits to Britain over the next few months. Werner will be appearing at The Dundee Blues Bonanza on the last weekend of June, The Leytonstone Festival on July 4th, and the following month he'll be appearing at The Smokie Blues International Festival in Arbroath (14th - 16th August). Both Reg Patten and myself will be providing the rhythm section at all events, I am proud to say. During these visits we are sure to see him back here at The Coach & Horses as our special guest to follow up the dazzling performance we witnessed this week in front of a very good attendance. Our hugely popular German friend certainly makes light work of meeting new friends and admirers at each visit here, so it's very plain to see why he was chosen as Germany's Blues Ambassador - and such a richly deserved honour too !
After an amazing opening set from Werner we got on with our usual business of jamming
From the Essex Blues Newsgroup :
This week we were honoured to have as our guest the German Ambassador to the Blues Hall of Fame, his excellency, the Flamingstratman Werner Lindner, who proceeded to rock the joint with his own very international and far from ersatz brand of Blues. Danke schoen, mein herr, and please come back again soon!
I´ll do so and many, many thanks. You´re all great !
I was there.. as usual.. interesting effects been added to this video. Had to laugh.. back to the 70`s.. and why not? I still have the pics I shot on the night. (as usual).
