This video is fine, I get all the same! I was diagnosed with social anxiety a few weeks ago. When I'm around people, I mumble so quietly and I can't pronounce my words properly or focus on what someone is saying and I wont tell them what I'm thinking cause all I'm thinking about is how dumb I am and I'm scared they're not gonna like me. also I get scared to choose a song infront of people incase I have no 'swag' or whatever. And when I'm around people I feel like I have no personality, I'm dead

I can´t look people in the eye either!! It just feels too intimate somehow. I´ve tried to force myself to stare right into their eyes while I´m talking or listening to them LOL but I just CAN`T DO IT!! I think their gonna see right into me and realize how awkward/weird/fake I am during the conversation!
And also, I almost never concentrate on what they´re saying, like u can´t either. I just focus on appearing calm and confident so that I don´t embarress myself.

I'm making a comment! jk
I SO have the problem with people not hearing me! I was on a school trip last month and some people were talking in the van. Then everything went completely quiet, so I decided it was a good time to ask the chaperon a question. So I belted out my question (just short of yelling)...he didn't hear a word. And just like it always happens, everyone heard it except the guy I was talking to! So I couldn't pretend I didn't say anything. I just shut up. So embarrassing...
This is totally like me!!! Lowering of voice, talking fast, not making eye contact, wow... And all of those are symptoms of anxiety, I'm guessing. Oftentimes people think they lack social skills BUT IT'S NOT TRUE!! It's the stupidi anxiety's fault!! Soo don't blame it on yourself, kidos. N fuck what people think. :)))

You are just like me and I am a 48 year old woman. I feel like I would be so much more successful today in life if I didn't have this disorder. I have a suggestion for you when making videos. Look into the camera and talk, it will make your message more meaningful. I understand completely, everything you mentioned is exactly my problem in life. It will help me to know more people who are going through what I am going through. I blow many job interviews because I'm scared to present myself.
