  • is that a 4s battery? looks bigger than a 3s to me, just wondering because im running a 420L in my Comet500 with a 3s

  • @SPAGHETTIMONSTER1

I don't remember the exact size of the battery but it was a rather large 3s pack with plenty of power(mah's).

  • When using the Trex 450 Head how short should the swash links be to get the proper pitch settings.

  • @italiano687

I don't remember what length I had them at but I do remember having to do it by trial and error. Basically you put a pitch gauge(set on zero) on the blades, unhook the links, set the sticks on the transmitter for zero pitch too and manually move the links to until the blades are at zero pitch. Then adjust the link length until they are the same height as the swash ball while the blades are still at zero. It is was pretty easy to do, I hope my instructions makes sense.

  • Good job man.. Your Blade just kicked the shit out of mine bro. I thought I went all out on the aluminum, carbon fiber and home made stuff but you out did yourself. I've crashed mine more times than I've flown. But she looks fucken hot on my shelf. lol.

  • @evildomain , thank,.. nice mods! looks good

  • i did this mod exept the swash plate as i still need to make a bracket for the guide

you know the ball links screw out and you can use the stock blade 400 ball links if prefered,

a cheap way to do this is get a trex 450 clone head & tail set which is actualy about 3-4 times cheaper than eflite cnc parts and about 3 times less than trex align parts, same results but cheaper :)

anyhoo its a nice mod to do and deffo makes it better

  • @CrazyHeliDude
