"Where do you want the boxes, Uncle Max?" Joe somberly asked his Uncle, who was busying himself packing the last of Joe's luggages in his car. Uncle Max took a quick glance at the boxes taped off with bright duct tape before shaking them off. He would handle it. "If thats the case.. then.. I guess that I'm leaving--"

"Joe!" Miley cried out, escaping through the front door and leaping into her lover's arms. "W-what's happening?" She weakly spoke, every word frail and nervous as though Miley at this point was broken. "Whats going on here?" She demanded, her face was tight in fear. Gripping the situation held before her, she tightly wrapped her arms around Joe's torso, pressing him against her. "Don't leave," She begged.

"I have to," Joe told her, stroking the burnette locks on her head. "Your dad..." He stopped himself, before what he was about to say would be twisted.

"What?" She wondered, looking up at him. Eyes locked into his, she repeated her words. "What about my dad?" Worry mixed with anger painted clearly in her crystal irises.

Joe blinked, regretting imediatly the words that spewed out of his mouth with any thought. Twisting himself in Miley's arms, he turned his torso around searched for Max's face. Hopefully, he overheard the entire ordeal and already plotted a solution in his mind.

Uncle Max quietly whistled as he lunged for more boxes, slowly and steadily packing them in the van. Ocasionally, he would swap glances with Joe, but those moments wouldn't last long considering Miley was trying to make the same eye contact.

"Uhmm.." Joe started, his voice soft. "Miley... I have to go." His voice now an abrupt monotone. "Back.. home." He jerked his thumb down the street, as though that were signal enough.

Miley could feel the wind being socked out of her stomach, literally. A soft gasp broke from her throat, silencing her. "W-what?" She begged. At that moment, she began to tremble. Hands shaking as they loosened their grip around Joe. Terrified for her lovefair, she brought those hands slowly up to Joe's face, cupping his cheeks. "Thats a lie.. you're a horrible liar, you know." She told herself, rather than Joe.

Closing her eyes, he breathed in what would surely be the last time that he would sniff the perfume that was entangled in her blouse. "No, Miley. I have to go. I don't have a choice." He told her, his voice broke. Seeing her face contorted in utter disbelief, heart ripped in two, eyes almost beaten from exhaustion from such a heavy night before.

"Lies!" Her voice exploded. Letting out a quiet yelp, she shot down her hands from his cheeks. Bending them at her sides, her face crumpling as tears of hot anger leaked. Closing her eyes, she forcefully squeezed the tears from her eyes, comanding them to fall.

Joe gripped Miley's upper arms, bending his as he did so. "I have to do whats best for you." He choked out, pained from having to leave from the girl he loved the most. "I'm not the best person you want to be involved with.. its either this, or not have me at all." Biting his lip, the best explaination unfolded before him.

"I would rather DIE!" Her voice shrieked in a loud cry, releasing herself from his firm grip. She ran her fingers through her thick, touseled waves. Turning around, she took a few steps. "I would rather die, either way." She honestly spoke.

"You know that thats a lie." Narrowing his eyes, he spoke firmly. As he tried to walk over to her, Miley took steps back, refusing to meet him. "No one died of a broke heart,"

Crossing her arms, she defiantley replied to him. "I might." After an intense staring match, Miley uncrossed her arms and asked him the question: "Did my dad make you do this?"

Joe wondered if he should have responded to her question. Turmoil between Miley and her father had reached an all time high, not to mention, Miley had an unhealthy temper. "No..." Joe said. By this point, Miley knew his words were lies.

"Don't you dare lie to me, Joe Jonas." She hissed through clenched teeth, taking a few steps towards him. "You had better not be lying to me," She warned him.

For a brief moment, Joe had not uttered a word, but continued to stare at his sweetheart. Eyes ready for danger, anger beyond belief, she scoweled at him. "Yeah.. he forced--asked--me to go. He doesnt think that you and I should be together. So he wants us apart, atleast until I can prove myself to him.. prove that im good enough."

"But you are!" Miley weakely cried out, her voice a fragile sound. "You are! If anything, you're perfect. You're all I want." A searing numb feeling ripped through her hands, she became unable to move them. Desperatley, she wanted to hold Joe's hands. Beg him to stay, beg him to be with her. As her lover. Her friend. Her everything. At this moment, she couldn't, for her was already too traumitized from the thought of them being apart.
