@talk2malawyer Yes, that's called the "shed", they have to separate specific sheep (marked in some way) from the rest of the herd and hold them.

Both dogs have a different type of whistle. So they only follow commands to their own whistle. Experienced sheepdogs also have a good deal of initiative, so its not hard for them to work together .

How does the handler give commands to invidual dogs when they are so bloody far away?
This was my late fathers favorite t.v show....I used to fraking HATE it .....
But I love it now ... How do you become a shepard??
