Neal Schon specially guests and jams with Vince "Ice" Black and with the Narada Michael Walden band for a Jimi Hendrix tribute playing "Voodoo Child" LIVE at the West Fest Woodstock 40th Anniversary in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park Speedway Meadows October 25, 2009. Well worth more of the price of the price of the ticket, which is FREE. History made once again in San Francisco!!!

  • This is a great clip I love the fact that the rodies are behind the marshall half stack trying to figure out that theres nothing wrong with the amp they just forgot to plug in the direct out !

Then the camera man almost runs into neal ! and he never misses a note ! I wish he he would slow it down a little and let us taste the notes he always plays too fast but hey thats neal!

  • TY CD... I love live concerts because of these sort of "real time" treats. Glad you noticed those too. I have a feeling they did not even practice together and were just doing their best ad-libs. Which makes it a rare, "once in a lifetime" event.

  • I agree DonE.... the five are great individually but the 5 guys together is just a great combination on stage... definitely got the right synergy, chemistry and talent combination. At least that's how I saw it 6 times this year. Thanks for your comment.

The actual vid is supposed to be HD but somehow it gets converted down when uploading to YT... so I am working on a new post with new software.
