This is the second installment of the fluid adaption class at Craigieburn with Renshi Paul's crew. Beginning with running without breathing as an experiment in the neurobiology of fear, the session moves into moving off line from a punch by backward chaining from the point of contact. Using touch to identify when the pressure of the punch is applied, participants simply 'let go' and moved off line from the flow.

The next step backwards in the chain was to move off line to the visual sight of the punch, with arms behind the back. This was then extended to include upper arm and forarm movement in respone to assist with redirecting the punch. This was then extended to include different methods of generating power from the energy of the punch, various approaches to striking on the pads.

All in all lots of fun!
