Video of fights and fire in troubled Kyrgyzstan

Ethnic Kyrgyz and Uzbeks are clashing in the streets of the southern Kyrgyz town of Jalal-Abad. At least 6 people have already been killed. A local military base has been raided by an angry crowd and the town's Kyrgyz-Uzbek university has been set on fire. In the nearby town of Osh, nearly 70 people have been killed and hundreds wounded in ethnic fighting. Thousands of Uzbeks are said to be fleeing towards the border. Earlier Kyrgyzstan's leaders called on Russia to send peacekeepers to help end the violence. The Kremlin says Moscow cannot get involved at this stage, because the crisis is an internal affair.
