first car was a white 1959 chevy impala convertible..black top..283 with holly 4 bbl..chevy 2 speed power glide...dual 22 inch porters exhaust..slow off the line..but great passin' gear..get it to 40, stomp it and the front end of tha pig would literally raise about 2 inches when the passiin' gear kicked in....paid $300 in 1966..wish i had i tnow...doowop on the radio..was a great time to be 17...
