Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel Interview with Amy Poehler and Christina Applegate

Alvin and the Chipmunks are back at it again in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel but this time around they have some serious competition from The Chippettes. The story picks up during the Chipmunks' concert. Dave Seville (Jason Lee) suffers a severe injury and is rushed to the hospital. Although he survives, he must stay for a few days to recuperate and calls his cousin Toby (Zachary Levi) to help take care of the Chipmunks. Prior to the event, he had made arrangements for Alvin, Simon, and Theodore to attend school. Little does he know, while in school, the Chipmunks feel like 'chipmunks out of water' on account of all the human students around. Meanwhile, the Chipmunks' former manager Ian Hawke (David Cross) searches the world for animals who can sing and dance. He happens upon Brittany (Anna Farris), Jeanette (Christina Applegate), and Eleanor Amy Poehler), The Chippettes, and cannot wait to make them famous, and get his sworn revenge on the Chipmunks.
