yo dowblab, is the Pro version a lot better? do you like it?

@messos Yeah, the Pro has an unbelievable range compared to the regular. The 8 infrared lights on the Pro make all the difference. I'm able to shut off tv's in restaurants while I'm in the car, windows rolled up, and about 150ft away. It really is great.

@dowblab uh mine is arrived. and I wanted to know does your tv-b-gone 8 IR emitters all lights up? mine only 6 lights up and 2 doesn't why is it? need fully charge?
messos 1 year ago
@messos We'll all the lights should light up even if it isn't fully charged. Best thing to do is plug the TV-B-Gone into its charger and make sure it's charging. Then use a decent camera (your phone camera will do) and see how many of lights do light up. Even on a low battery they all should light up. They should light up in different orders though so make sure you keep an eye on each individual light to see. Let me know what happens.

@dowblab Hi, I've fully charged it and still 2 IR will not light up =( not sure if it will effect the distance of it. I've emailed tvbgone yesterday and still got no reply from them. =(

@messos sorry to hear that. Hopefully it doesn't have an adverse effect on the remote. You could probably get a new one because it sounds like it should be covered under warranty.
