How awful. People think that elephant's backs are very very strong and that they can endure this. elephants have strong necks, but their backs can carry about 200 lbs. Putting that thing on his back alone is probably 100 lbs...add on that enormous guy and you have a LOT of weight on its back!! Plus, do you think elephants want to carry around people? NO. They are forced to do it with cruel training techniques.
