  • Ricoeur was also very interested the use of the productive imagination on poetry and science, and how the two related to each other.

  • Ricoeur is one of the only thinkers who rigorously integrated Marx, Nietzsche and Freud into a real philosophy of meaning that was in a way stalled by the post-moderns. Its a solid read and an important one in this day and age.
