  • Whew. This is so true

  • Omgosh i need too quit sininng, but I'm struggling with fear, guilt, shame, pride, stress, anger, lust, jelousy. How do i just quit cold turkey, lord i need strength! Plz!

  • @Mcduce2008 -- Yeah... I would agree with that.

  • @mundymanor

I know its been a while on this topic... but I was re-reading your comment. I wouldn't want people wondering if they need to get "re-saved" either... but more importantly...I wouldn't want them thinking they WERE saved when in fact they are not. I would rather they question their salvation and examine their lives everyday.

  • Very eye opening

  • @mundymanor -- I meant WHICH is why... not "would" is why. Time to quit typing for the night.

  • @Mcduce2008 -- Yeah, okay. I can buy that. I agree that the magic little "sinner's prayer" does not a Christian make. Would is why I have a big hang-up with many Vacation Bible Schools trying to force kids into "decisions" by literally trying to scare the "Hell" out of them. Just don't want people going to bed every night wondering if they need to get re-saved.

  • @mundymanor

I didn't hear him say anything about LOSING salvation. I think the point he was trying to make is that if you are TRULY saved, you will have a different heart and different desires. Not that you won't EVER sin again, but sin will not rule in your life anymore. Many people think they are "good to go" because they said a little prayer. Simply not true. This is why Jesus addressed good fruit and bad fruit and those who will say "Lord Lord".

  • He asked how many people [have done something], not how many people [are doing something]. We once were blind but now we see doesn't seem to apply in this video. You don't lose your salvation like you lose your car keys. We will be making mistakes and sinning until judgement day, but that doesn't mean we need to ask for salvation 100 times per day.

So much for Blessed Assurance, huh? Serving God does not equal not sinning anymore. That's why Christ died--we can't do it ourselves.

  • hahaha "only got 2 options" and he does devil horns instead of peace sign.
