Robots get human touch

Jun. 8 - Making robots more human as a way to drive consumer demand is at the center of the evolution in Japanese robotic technology. Several Japanese robot creators were recently in New York at the Japan Society to show how robots are no longer only for industrial use but can be used as pets, for companionship, and even as mobility aides.

it was part of the surrender treaty..... The US limited the size because of that..... you really think they would cut there air force if the japs were allowed to keep an army going?

no, after WWII, the american limited the size of their arm force. so, the japanese invest most of the resource into entertainment, technology, & etc.. the cash that went there was to rebuild their country only after WWII.

I'm still wondering, why they haven't invented a steampunk- styled robot... It would be ugly.

Plus it can have electrical stimulators so that fat people that use it get to be lazy and work out at the same time!
