12/27/2008, Long Island, New York. "I'm No Angel" is a 1987 single, written by Tony Colton and Phil Palmer and recorded by Gregg Allman. The title track from his album of that year, the song was an unexpected hit, reaching #49 on the Billboard Hot 100 but gaining heavy album-oriented rock airplay and topping the Album Rock Tracks chart.

  • Wish there was a better video of this song...

  • @jrushmen Dickey Betts is nothing but a drunk any more. My uncle and his band have opened for him more than a few times and he is hit or miss. Usually miss. He is also not a friendly person. If you have ever watched, I believe, one of the One Way Out Live at the beacon DVD interviews, you will find out why Dickey was fired. He turned to either Butch or Oteil during a show and said "what song are we playing?" to which the response was "not the one you're playing". Get your facts straight

  • @aquaskye I was privileged to know Twiggs, the road manager back in the late 70's. I wrote for some papers like "Good times", and some college papers too. I got to know a little about things, and Twigg's who was given Duane's 1959 Cherry sunburst by Gregg, handed it to me, and let me play it for awhile once! Well,, stop passing judgement, because there's quite a bit you DON'T KNOW about this matter, just do like the Good Lord say's, "he who is without sin, cast the first stone!"

  • Check out Bucky and BARRY at Fiddlers Savannah, they locked it and threw away the key!

  • greg sounds good the bongos or whatever that is sounds lame though ...

  • @JenR1

If this is the best version Live on YouTube, then that's a drag, because this one isn't so great, from the audio recording to the fact that he sounds struggling at best to get through it. I saw him in 2006 don't recall him being this out of wind and as far as the band goes, there is no justice there for them whatsoever due to the poor audio and from what I heard on Letterman just a few minutes ago, the next version of it is going to be worse unfortunately.

  • try to find best live

  • what? that was not in the book?

  • i totally freaking love this one
