i went through the same exact procedure since i was a baby and i got 13 plastic surgeries just to take out half of the nevus ... now i am 17 and the top part of my back is still fully nevus and the bottom is stretched skin! ....i kinda wish i hadnt got it because now i just have scars everywhere and im terrrified of the doctor!! i also have many birthmarks all over my body and i wouldnt do that procedure again! ever!

I was born with one Giant nevus, it used to cover my eye, eyebrow and forehead, now I have a giant scar instead, no eyebrow, and rests of nevus that make me look like a freak. Much respect for this little boy and his parents, best wishes

my son was born with it he is the only child in new zealand with it an it is very hard to get help as it is not a common disorder here it would be so great if you could email me whateva information you have about it an how your family an brother cope
