I was fortunate enough to see RKL in Ventura in '88. I was mesmerized. One of the best shows I've ever seen...These still guys can still blow out any emo or modern "punk" act out there. Sad they imploded.

@hijackjoe ...yeah, agreed...but in some ways, I'm so glad they weren't overexposed, watered down, and marketed (corporate style).....they remain a treasure to so many of us, and one that we can still hide from the masses and just enjoy ourselves....like the good ole days.

@hijackjoe couldnt have said it better myself
makes me wanna cry too
had the pleasure of meeting them in the Goudvishal in Arnhem Holland and seeing them play live and break up sadly enough
still have to hear and see a hardcore band that is on their level (Negazione maybe)
Living it up every moment indeed

@hijackjoe absolutely!
saw them live back in 89 and still no band has blown my mind like RKL live! Never seen my hometown go apeshit like that and I got the scars to prove it

20 years later...still blown away by this song. I saw them in Ventura back in 88...I was totally enthralled by the bass riff..still am.

@hijackjoe i think nofx gets it. :)
Watching this vid makes me wanna cry. How a band could transcend the genre like no other could and never get the notary they deserved. Melodies and fast paced riffs that no other band could comprehend in its time or until present. True spirited band that could do it all. RIP for those band mats that past away. I hope many more get turned over to listening to the genre from this song and do what RKL possibly couldn't have in their existence as a band. Livin it up every moment!
