Fly Fishing the lower McKenzie River for wild rainbow and cutthroat trout. There was not much of a hatch this day, but the fishing was steady. Not too many large fish this day, but lots of action throughout the day. The March Brown hatch started and fish started to come up to the surface to eat, and then the hatch ceased like a light switch and the surface action ended before it ever got going.
