SRT8 is just a V8 engine in a heavy shell, no kind of performance drive train, basically buying a heavy car with a family style almost copying the phantom , maybe it would be better racing a soup up civic

@bigtruckseriesreview Right, my point is people hating on a vehicle because they can mod vehicle 'X' and make it 'better.' I admire the V8s place in the car world, but I dont think any genuine auto enthusiast would call a GTR a 'rice rocket.' Anything that can run to 60mph in under 4 seconds, and under 3 seconds in the 2012's case, and can set records at The Ring is not rice.

I disagree. A Veyron would kill the GTR in a straightline while succumbing to it on a track...BUT I'D RATHER HAVE THE VEYRON ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. Take the price down and I'd take a CTS-V over the GTR too. Ultimately, I can afford a wide range of stuff, but, I WOULD NEVER BUY A SUPER RICE ROCKET.

@bigtruckseriesreview Thats fantastic. That GT-R would still run rings around any SRT vehicle at the very mention of a corner. Just because a car can run a faster straight line really doesnt make it special, anyone can drop $XX,XXX into ANY car and be 'faster' than a supercar

GTR costs twice what my SRT8 cost but, with just $10,000 of work, I can kill a GTR in the quarter. Videos coming soon

@cozzey05 oh and there really isnt much of a base gtr...its just the gtr, their is the black edition but thats still about 90-95k and it really adds nothing to the car performance wise, just some different rims and stuff...

@cozzey05 ive seen videos of the gtr beating the z06 and the z06 beating the gtr...idk why people want to say the z06 is faster than a gtr the cars are both really great matches for each other and around a track the driver would determine which car would win...Search for this video "GT-R vs Z06 vs GT500: 5-Figure Supercar Shootout! " it shows you that the two cars are close competitors and pretty evenly matched

@cregxy even the new Z06 will beat the GTR. You're comparing the price of a car with all the options against the base price of another car.
