FX Makeup Tutorial 01 - Freddy Krueger's Burns [01.01.11]

In the first ever make up tutorial from BonyBFX I decided to revisit an effect I attempted way back when I was young and inexperienced. Freddy Krueger has always been one of my favorite horror movie villains and A Nightmare On Elm Street was Johnny Depp's debut role in film! It's so great.

The way I executed the make up for this is relatively easy and can be recreated by anyone who is willing to put in the time and effort.

I bought some of the supplies at The Amazing Party and Costume Store in Toronto for the make up and the rest of the Freddy costume.

Unless you look like Robert England, no one is gonna look exactly like Freddy. This is a Good makeup job. Better than those lame masks

@RealityHurts923 yeah, the masks can look pretty bad. not very realistic and are usually too big and very sweaty.

I thought that this was way more superior than the BFX tutorial. Indymogul's (BFX's) was pretty cheesy. It only did the face on BFX.

@TerrorProductions1 thanks for the awesome compliment! I love BFX..well, before it changed...still cool though. They were my inspiration to even start this channel, but I'm far to poor and time deficient to do this all the time...I'd LOVE to though.
