two more plot holes i forgot to mention, 1, it seems highly unlikely to me that after all that time they never tried to merge with someone twice. when dealing with support characters like 'forge', you dotn have much to worry about in the power loss department since your not fighting with them anyway. 2, if each different universe 'version' of a character is a different character, that would make mean you have 100 million different fanfiction versions of superman to merge through.
