@Nic1700 I don't disagree that Juliette Low was flawed. We all have flaws but I do think in reference to gender and women's rights she was ahead of her time. She was a leader. And I think in reference to gender she would still be ahead of her time today. I doubt if she were given the same opportunities as I have that she would have been a racist or... a conservative Christian.

I called the Girl Scouts of Colorado Corporate Office to thank them personally for being open minded and all inclusive. They tell me that the best way to support the organization is to buy more Girl Scout cookies. It would be great if everyone expressed their gratitude and called the Colorado office to personally thank them or simply bought more cookies. Thank you.

The position that her argument that the Girl Scouts were not being "Honest" about transgendered youth in their program is kind of... wrong. It advances the notion that if a transgendered person presented themselves as their gender of identity that they are lying to people. This is a horrible notion to spread, and I'd hate to see anyone suggest that a transgendered person must unequally expose the gory details about their genitalia for all the public, lest they are a liar.

@drshlotzkin Exactly. This is not a biological problem, it is emotional. Boys can be the "sensitive" type but that doesn't mean they are some invented term "transgender," which is actually a recruiting tool for the homosexual crowd. Get them onboard while they are young and impressionable so they have a bigger dating pool. If transgender is a true condition, then why not start hacking off their pee pees in childhood just like wisdom teeth in order to avoid prolonged misery? Any takers?

So you're saying that transgendered "boys," ie., a person with female anatomy, but believes they are male, are not allowed into the Girl Scouts? You people are whacked.
