Response to President Obama's Address to Congress

This week, during his State of the Union Address, President Obama reached out to you, the American people, and addressed our shaken confidence in the economy. In this video I tell the stories from people in our community who have been impacted by the economic downturn, and what I, along with my colleagues in Congress and with the support of the President, are doing to bring about our economic recovery.

Hi Mike, good speech. During the first depression, Japan did massive deficit spending and public works, and they got out of the depression earlier than the U.S. I love the republicans saying "we can't tax and spend". Apparently wasting billions on a quagmire in Iraq is preferable to spending billions to rebuild our infrastructure and help our fellow Americans. Let's get to work!
