This is a quick sample of my one arm chinup progression, i can do a few of these but i just did one on each arm. Being a purist these are not real one arm chinups (that would be dead hang) but this is close to the max height i can do now. Tell me what you think :) :) :)
(for future reference im 77kg and 1.86m tall, no easy bodyweight exercises for me lol)

  • great stuff, i can do one with the form you have here but not a second :/

  • good strength!

  • no worries man anytime, night.

  • ok cool, sounds a lot like my routine, especially the spur of the moment stuff, anyawys, thanks for the help, goodnight.

  • yeah basically i try for 3-4 days in the gym with the workouts and one arm training at the \start of each of them, along with all the stuff i do at home which is likke a few minutes at a time spur of the moment stuff, handstands, front lever and planche progressions, one arm negatives (only recently) and whatever else lol.

  • ok, great, this is helping heaps for making my own program, so let me get this straight, you were doing your other workouts, standard workouts like 3-4 times and also the one arm training 3-4 times at the beggining of every workout, or did oyu have more standard workouts, sorry but this will help me heaps.

  • thats dead on except the two days a week, i try for 3-4 days a week and if something's too sore i just go light on it, i just listen to my body and see what i can get away with lol

  • ok fair enough, s pretty much like 2 times a week, one time wiht oyur squat n bench workout, the other with your deadlift n military press workout, and all the abs and chin dip supersets for every workout. ye pretty much am i right?

  • well basically when i started i was doing random stuff each daybut shortly after i wrote a new program. however it wasnt exactly anything to do with chinups: i did an alternating program so i'll put slashes between each part if they were different. one arm assisted chins, squat/deadlift, bench press/military press, shrugs, core work, superset chins-dips

  • soo, when u say "workout" waht sort of workouts where you doing then, di you do the 3 sets of ten with your back/bi's or just varied? and if possible tell me what the rest of your workout consisted of briefly
