Kelly's Heroes Tank Club

Kelly's Heroes is a bunch of guys who build and battle Tamiya 1/16 scale RC tanks equipped with infrared combat system. I attended one of their battles, and this is my way of saying "thanks, guys!"

Hey cool vid man, I'm not sure if you know sparky or not but he said he was in your club and is more into the battleships now, anyway I am one of his friends and I'm wondering if you have any battles going on during winter. I have a 1/16 scale panther G and have only driven it ( no tank clubs out here). Please get back to me as soon as possible.

@Golliath12Films Yes, I do know sparky. Alas I don't know what RC tank clubs there are now. A couple years ago there was some turmoil when the owner of one of the major battlefields died, and I don't know what happened after that. There are still tankers battling in the area, I am just not in contact with them.

@bdaley1234 Speed is either by class or by what the historic tanks achieved. Been a while since I've played though, so I don't remember.

That's pretty elaborate. Are you having an actual battle with points?  What's the rule for counting a kill?

Yes, we are having an actual battle, but we don't count points. Different tanks have different amounts of health depending on their class (ultralight, light, medium, heavy), which is tracked by the onboard electronics. Once your tank is down, it's down for the round, and we go until one team or the other is completely eliminated.
