Fox on PATRIOT: A Video Fisking

It's amazing how many misleading claims and simple inaccuracies can fit into one brief report on the USA PATRIOT Act.

A good video pointing out a small bit of Fox's typically shoddy and unprofessional fact checking. However, you really ought to find yourself a better backdrop than the living room.

More from The Jews in Weimar Germany:

"If moderate Judeophobia made it easier for Protestants to tolerate radical racism, its most pernicious result was to prepare some of them to endorse nazism. ...

"It was precisely this kind of thinking that in 1931 led a bishop of the Evangelical church, Heinrich Rendtorff of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, to declare his support for nazism as a movement that promoted the idea of brotherhood!"

To be fair, German anti-semitism was as much political/economic as it was religious, but that's the way it's been throughout history, whether practiced by Christians or Muslims. Inquisitions (like witch-burnings) allowed the church to "conveniently" take control of the victims' land and possessions, and the Turkish invasion of the holy lands was as much about empire-building and regaining more "local" political control.

Really, religion is a political tool, and a dangerous, irrational one.

Your 4 post portrayal is fluff.

Anti-whoever FEELINGS are ubiquitous; socialists give them federal MUSCLE. Germany, before Nazism, was more peaceful & viable than Chicago is today. Christians & Jews alike thrived, clergy preached, children were taught (real) science & (real) history, cripples, & retards were aided, gypsies roamed, & queers sodomized in bathhouses. The pagan- & Atheist- socialism of Hitler & Mussolini CHANGEd all that.

Your Atheist mysticism REQUIRES you to muddle & equivocate.

Hee hee. Documented historical occurrences are "fluff."

You're precious, little Ty-Ty.

"cripples, & retards were aided"

Pining for better times? (That was thanks to socialized medicine, by the way.)

Anyway, feel free to document anything you've said with actual sources, and not your usual bluster and wishful thinking. I've already documented what the clergy were "preaching" at the time, and the books I've recommended are full of events, not "feelings." Try a little literacy.

Sources? Boasting of your ignorance doesn't quite refute my point.

However, one reason we know that such people were THRIVING in Germany before the socialist's labor union party -- N.A.Z.I. party -- took over is that Germany was so "infested" with such "Life unworthy of life", to use the lingo of your socialized-medicine-adoring comrades of the day, that the socialists had to construct things called "concentration camps" in which to herd MILLIONS of them to fulfill their "Final Solution".

Gotta say, Ty-Ty, I am enjoying your ever-deeper slide into incoherency. Do you like socialized medicine or not? You were so approving of its care for the "cripples & retards" before!

I see you still don't know what a labor union is, either.

Also, the mere fact that there were still Jews there (~500,000, or less than 1% of Germany's pop.) is not a refutation of centuries of documented violence and discrimination, Ty-Ty. But then, you and logic have never been on speaking terms.

The only ones rejecting the history and wisdom that there never was and never will be an earthly Utopia are socialist mystics, ironically. What I refuted are their mythic portrayals & conclusions to which you cling.

Earlier, I exposed their illogical core. (Notably, that's where your "Ty-Ty" baby talk began.) My last post merely demonstrates, again, how your socialist mythology doesn't even pass the common sense test. Find a less idiotic way to blame Christianity & defend Islam, Atheist.

Oh, Tyler, honey, if you want to be treated like a big boy then you should act like one. Lying, responding to all contradictory evidence by plugging your ears and going "LALALA", and now lying again about the parameters of the argument and trying to hide your incompetence and ignorance... tsk

This is worse than the time you told us "a man in a turban" crawled through your window and wet your bed! Your father and I were so disappointed, dear.

That reminds me, your mattress should be dry by now.
