Winning 3 nationals in a row is so crazy...Kim was amazing, the only other person to win 3 nationals was Kristal Uzelac as a junior, but no other senior has and thats just a huge feat. I also love that every national champion made an olympic team, but the 1997 champions....and there were many 2 time champions, I love it!

shawn johnson wasnt the champion in 2008. nastia liukin won the all-around at the olympics. right?

Shawn was the National all around champion at the United States' National Championships. Nastia came in second at this competition. Nastia did win gold in the AA at the olympics later that year, though.

Thanks! Yeah, I know, all of the footage from 1990 Nationals is either non-existent or extremely terrible quality. :(
