In an effort to maximize profits, some food producers package their food in such a way as to make it appear that you are getting more than you are. Legally, it is not deceptive advertising, because they tell you the weight of the food on the package, but it can still be misleading. Big potato chip bags that are puffed half full of air are annoying. Here's another example in this video.
