The Old 97's ROCK!! Rhett Miller, Murray and the boys play some of the best alt-country out there, and phenomenal live -- catch them in concert if you can.

@0123zaq0123 It all depends on what he's defining "Country" as. Artists like Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson. That's straight country, and it's good. Toby Keith, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Shania Twain, or any of that other shit is "Crossover Country," and it's awful. There's absolutely nothing genuine about it.
