When President Obama signed the NDAA as a New Years gift to the American People, he essentially eliminated our right to due process of law. And when I found out the legislation was written, in a large part, by John Mcain, I realized it would not have mattered who we elected. These wars will continue, and our rights will continue to be whittled away till we are no more free than the people of China. Yet we shed our blood to "promote democracy" in a foreign land??? RON PAUL - THAT'S ALL!

To everyone who is afraid of what will happen to the US from these policies, look at Japan. Japan has no aggressive armed forces (it's actually against their constitution). The fact that they don't spend trillions of dollars on a war machine doesn't seem to hurt their clout on the international stage, because they are still a huge economic power. If they don't like you, they stop trading with you. They don't threaten other countries, and likewise are not threatened with attack either.
