I did check them out. They are great. I wouldn't categorize them to close to us in genre. We all grew up in the 90s alternative rock scene, so influences such as Tool, Nine Inch Nails and Deadsy are big...but we are also fans of progressive music. I personally am a fan of Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, etcetera. I don't feel that a musical arrangement has to be overly complicated through the use of odd time signatures or dancing along the fretboard to be considered Prog. Prog-tronica, deathpop.

seems rather an odd label to be on for your band, i have to say. the rest of the acts seem to be very tired, cheesy prog-rock with no real teeth. apart from steve morse, of course, who is a god. but he's hardly cutting edge. that derdian lot are...well....laughably bad. are they from estonia or something?

i much prefer polar rose and sigma to that single. the choruses are a little lost tho, to me. i know you're aiming for britney's market but i reckon they could jump out a bit more. they're not so singable after one or two listens. anyway best of luck to you!

shannon. if you don't care what the style is sposed to be, why did you pigeonhole the band as industrial and progressive!? makes no sense whatsoever

and why do i, personally, have to be 'better' than the band to warrant having a valid opinion?

just for the record, i'm a pro musician that writes for a living. not that it matters one jot.

there's only one song on here.isn't there? there's no way you can convince with that this is industrial. a few synths doesn't make it industrial. it's hardly progressisve either, is it? all 4/4 and very expected/normal chords. what's progressive about it? do tell. it's got more more in common with depeche mode than anything industrial or progressive
