This is so sad ! and also, it's what's even more sad is that there are still to this day so many pets still living on the streets breeding and depending on the shelters still dropping food in places for them to eat.That's why I say please donate to the shelters in New Orleans. The money is still needed and going 4 a good cause..

I can tell you many people were forced to leave a pet at the evacuation points.
They would later starve to death or die from the heatstroke.
We are shocked at how these family members were seperated from their people.
After katrina we made plans to evacuate ourselves and my siberian husky.
No one would ever harm him or seperate us from him.
He had been abandoned prior to Katrina and left to die by a offramp.
This wasn't going to repeat itself if I could help it.
