@ar1sch ah cool, I seem to remember something about that in the manual but the Engrish kinda killed the meaning. Thanks heaps man, I'll give it a shot.

I've recently received one of these for Christmas. To start the manual is all in engrish which made me incredibly suspicious of the build quality. It also does this really weird thing where I'll have the accelerator just on the first notch and it'll be floating steadily then all of a sudden without any input from me the blades will double in speed and the heli shoots upward and slams into the ceiling. It all seems a bit cheap and broken. But what can you expect for 35 quid.

@gbraich Safe range of about 15 meters with good transmitter batteries.

whats the range of this rc helicopter?

@ar1sch hey i got my S030 helicopter flying but it flys out of control any way can i fix that how can i get it steady and stable like yours
-
@TheExceed1 to know the exact problem, I must see the heli.
maybe the batt is broken.

@ar1sch hey no matter how long I charge my S030 helicopter like for four hours soon as I try to fly it the battery goes dead as soon as i push my throttle up and answers
You're flying it like an absolute pro! I can't get mine off the ground without it spinning out.
If I manage to stop it spinning out with trim while it's on the ground, then get it say 30cm off the ground, it spins out and usually ends up in a dramatic crash. Any hints would be much appreciated.

@SchoolSarge fly it about 60cm (do it fast) from the ground then trim it. i suggest not to trim it near the ground because the heli's wind (from the floor) will hit it back.

im waiting for it to come in the mail! just flew my hughes 300 and already broke some pieces> glued it with super. i should have bought those carbon fiber beginner legs for the crashes huh? anyways, is yours three channel and what did you start with?

@jayerstrat syma s030 is 3 ch. i started with 2 ch, then micro heli 3 ch. i think beginners should fly micro heli first because it's easier to control.
