Sorry but this video doesn't tell you anything. Also, you should mix that outside to avoid breathing it all in. Mixing drill my ar**, but I guess that's OK if it's a 'Performance Power' drill from B&Q that you paid 15 quid for.

When you say the second coat will be thinner, do you mean you will apply it to the wall thinner, or mix it thinner - more watery?

There are dozens of vids on youtuve on how to mix plaster. They all make the same mistake.
The method is easy - water first, then plaster, mix with some sort of mixer, scrape the bits that fet stuck at the sides and bottom, expect the volume to double.
That is easy, you don't need a vid for that, I said it in one sentence.
What we need to know is - WHAT IS THE CORRECT CONSISTENCY????
