This is my son having a clusture seizure due to Tuberous Sclerosis. These are called infantile spasms and generally last from 5-15 minutes.

  • my son is doing something similar but had a normal 1hour eeg. How did you get the IS diagnosis?

  • His IS is due to his Tuberous Sclerosis, which IS are one characteristic of TSC. After the MRI's and the diagnosis of the TSC the diagnosis of IS was made.

  • poor little guy = [ just wants to watch his shows in peace

  • You need a 24 hr. EEG. It does look a little like spasms. I hope it isn't anything.

  • Can you please watch the 2 videos of my son and let me know if it's anything? I'm at a loss:(

  • he is such a lovely boy, i wish you the best of luck for you, your family and your son ! x

  • Poor little guy:(

  • My oldest son has been through this, back in the 80s. I will keep you in my prayers. He is way better now through meds/surgery, and he inherited the TSC gene from me, I have to take keppra and Nuerontin due to this.

  • Hi. My little boy Justus was recently diagnosed with TSC as well. He has complex partial seizures.

We had a brain tumor removed in April, and since then he is making TONS of progress on his development now that the seizures are under control. Still seizures here and there, but nowhere near the 10-15 a day he was having previously.

Will pray for you guys too!
