@SuperTinyMouse Some of them do, most of the good ones don't. Usually it's the more recent ones that do have nasty stuff in them

Wow, this is... really terrible. The expressions are flat, like making faces in a mirror. The adult's arms apparently can't move away from his body (1:16). They can't hold things properly. They keep returning to a default pose once their action is complete. The walking animation is good, I'll give them that... No comment on the sounds, I understand that the point here is the actual animation. But the actual animation kinda sucks.

i thought the sounds (of the ocean, walking, stomping, etc) as well as the expression exchanges between the adult & child were done well~~
people shouldn't criticize so much about the story (at least this has one).. it's a project/study.. for the animator, it helps when people say the things he/she did well on and/or what should be improved.. i mean, it's not like this was an entry trying to win an Academy for best short or something..
